Council has been searching for an efficient and  effective lighting system for its parks , gardens and shared pathways for many years.

One of the main issues encountered with current lighting systems is the reliance on 240 volt power supply which in some instances is cost prohibitive to utilise.

Vandalism is one of the major problems encountered with park lighting  currently.

When shown the Exlites Solar Bollard Lights there was a high degree of scepticism towards them especially in their ability to withstand sustained vandal attack. .

Several lights were installed in council parks and council staff were asked to destroy them with what ever they could find. The lights took all that was thrown at them and more and to our amazement continued working without any adverse effects,  they were simply outstanding with their strength , durability and intensity of light at a  reasonable cost.

The Exlites Solar Bollard Light is now the preferred light for lighting of public walkways, parks and gardens and are now considered a vital part of our landscape .
